Growing up in NYC I took for granted that I could walk to any number of world class museums and stare at my favorite paintings any time I wanted.
The good news is - I did. I had my favorites and I would visit them often.
Over time, I noticed there was another part of me that the concrete world did not fulfill. I loved flowers and color and growing things, and NYC is not the perfect venue for that. I moved to Vermont (after several years in San Francisco), where the greens of "Ver" and the mountains "mont",  my 1830 farmhouse and 27 acres of land - were just what I was missing.
I had found the perfect backdrop for creating art!
